PackTab Terms of Service

Effective: October 14, 2026 · Operator: Dylan McDonald, doing business as DM Studio SD ("PackTab", "we")

1. Acceptance. By using packtab.app you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be 18+ (or the age of majority where you live).
2. What PackTab is. A tool to track and split shared expenses. PackTab does not hold, move, or transmit money. Payments happen directly between users through third-party services (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Wise, Zelle) under those services' terms. We are not responsible for payments, mistakes in balances you enter, or disputes between users.
3. Your account. Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at dmstudiosd@outlook.com about any unauthorized use.
4. PackTab+. $6/month or $60/year, billed through Stripe, renews automatically until canceled. Cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current period. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give notice before price changes.
5. Acceptable use. You may not: send spam or harassing invites/reminders; impersonate others; ask for payment from people you don't share real expenses with; use PackTab for fraud or illegal activity; access other users' data; probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities except under our responsible-disclosure policy; or interfere with the service.
6. No scraping or copying. You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated means to access or collect data from PackTab, or copy, frame, mirror, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of PackTab's software, design, or content, or use it to build a competing product, except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
7. Intellectual property. PackTab, the PackTab name and logo, and the app are owned by DM Studio SD. You keep ownership of content you enter and give us a license to use it only to run the service.
8. Termination. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account anytime.
9. Disclaimers. The service is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent the law allows.
10. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $50, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
11. Disputes. California law; courts in San Diego County, CA.
12. Changes. We'll post updates and notify you of material changes.
